Zanne on sports is the brainchild of a true tomboy.

Ever since I climbed the newly installed fence, bonnet and all, at the age of two (to the cheers of all the neighborhood boys), my mom knew I was destined to be sporty. Heck, my rug for naptime in kindergarten was a Chicago Bears football. It all started with a backyard game called "big ball"... basically dodge ball and marco polo combined, with a really big green ball. I kept up with all the guys. :)

I went on to play tennis, softball, soccer, and found cheerleading wasn't my thing when I kept getting in trouble for watching the game. I was bat girl for a 3&2 baseball team, and faithfully watched my boyfriend (at the time) play basketball... horribly. You name the game, I like to watch it.
